We are looking for positions in elementary, middle, and high school.

The subjects are Social Studies, English, SAT, TOEFL, and AP.

Contract Period: August 29, 2024 – August 28, 2025

- The contract is for one year, with the school year starting on August 29.

- Contract period can be negotiated based on the circumstances of the teachers through the interview process.

- Please note that there will be a teacher training period before the school year begins.

Teaching Hours: Full-time job, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

- Salary can be discussed during the interview.

1) Location: Anyang, Gyunggi-do

2) Duties/Responsibilities

- Full time teaching and homeroom teacher (G1-12)

- English (Speaking, Writing)/Science/Bible

3) Working Hours

- Monday – Friday, 8am- 5pm

- Event Day: Weekdays require staying until 10 PM, which means staying overnight. (expected 2 times per semester)

- Semester System, Winter English Camp (3 Weeks)

5) Qualifications

- Sincere Christian

- Native English speaker (Visa: F-2, F-4, F-5, F-6)

- Bilingual in Korean and English

- Bachelor’s degree (accredited four-year university is required)

6) Salary & Benefits

- 2,300,000- 3,000,000 Won Per Month

- Paid vacation: Summer- 3weeks, Winter- 2 Weeks (divided into 1-week increments)

- Insurance: Health Insurance, Employment Insurance, and Workers' Compensation are supported.

- Monthly Housing Stipend of 500,000 won

HIS is a Christian alternative school accredited by the Korean Ministry of Education which is located on the Handong Global University campus in Pohang, South Korea. 2. Working Conditions

- Contract period: August 12, 2024 ~ December 23, 2024 (slightly adjustable)

- Weekly class hours: 5 class hours x 2 classes = 10 class hours

- Class length: 50 minutes

- Class size: About 20 students

3. Compensation & Benefits

- Compensation:

28,000 won/class hour (holder of a bachelor's or master's degree)

40,000 won/class hour (holder of a doctoral degree)

- Benefits:

Free lunches at the school cafeteria if lunchtime is right before or after a class time

4. Qualifications

-Be a native speaker of English who is eligible to teach the above subject in South Korea
