There are 4 main ways to earn Bible CEUs toward the renewal and/or upgrade of your ACSI Certificate (note, in order for a course/study to count for Bible, it must follow ACSI's Biblical Studies Requirements):

1. ConNexus Premium

One way to earn Bible CEUs is through your ConNexus Premium account.
(Your school may or may not have access to this. Ask your administrator if you are unsure. If you would like to purchase your own individual membership the cost is approximately $119 a year if you are employed by an ACSI member school (the amount is greater for nonmembers). E-mail Member Care to ask for more information from our Member Care specialists.)

If you do have access to ConNexus Premium but have never logged in to view videos, here's how:

1) go to your.acsi.org and click on "Learning" near the top right corner

2) enter your username/password - your username is your school email address and your initial password is your Practitioner ID (If for some reason this does not work, or you do not know your Practitioner ID, please contact Member Care)

3) find the "My VPP" menu on the left of the page, which will allow you to access videos through the "Preimum Courses" option

4) search for applicable videos (by title or by category)

5) watch any video you would like (double check that it is approved for Bible if you need to earn Bible CEUs) - once you have viewed a video and completed a personal evaluation of the course, credit will automatically be uploaded into your Virtual Professional Portfolio (VPP) account.

6) mark that you are submitting CEUs on your renewal application and choose the "ConNexus VPP" option - the Certificaton Team will know to look for those CEUs in your VPP account.

ConNexus Premium에 접속이 가능하지만 한번도 접속하지 않은경우 아래를 참고해 주시기 바랍니다.

2) ID와 비밀번호를 입력 - 초기 ID와 비밀번호는 모두 학교 대표 이메일로 설정되어 있습니다. (알고있는 학교 대표이메일로 접속이 불가하거나 대표이메일을 모르는 경우, member_care@acsi.org로 이메일 부탁드립니다.)

3) 페이지 왼쪽에 있는 "My VPP"를 찾아 "Preimum Courses" 옵션을 선택.

4) 알맞은 비디오를 검색 (제목 또는 카테고리별 검색)

5) 원하는 비디오 시청 (Bible CEU 조건에 충족하는 비디오인지 꼭 확인 부탁드립니다.) - 비디오 시청이 끝나고, 개인별 코스 평가가 끝나면, 크레딧은 Virtual Professional Portfolio (VPP) account로 자동 등록 됩니다.

6) 갱신 신청서에 제출한 CEU 과목을 표기한 후 "ConNexus VPP" option을 선택 - Certificaton Team이 신청자의 VPP account를 통해 CEU를 확인 합니다.

2. ACSI Accredited Schools

If your school is an accredited member school with ACSI, that automatically qualifies it to be a CEU provider, which means they are able to provide opportunities for you to earn CEUs through the school. For example, if your staff has devotions each morning, your school can submit that for approval through ACSI as a course, and then your school would issue your CEU credit into your VPP. Another example would be if you attend a Bible study with a small group from church (outside of regularly-scheduled church service times). Your school could upload the time you spent in that Bible study (minus any homework, reading, or writing assignments) for approval. There is a place on both the printable and the online application to indicate that you have CEUs in your VPP. To count for Bible credit, the course/study must follow ACSI's Biblical Studies Requirements.

For more information, speak with the individual at your school who is identified as your school's "CEU Coordinator," or, if unsure, have your administrator e-mail the ACSI CEU Coordinator.

ACSI 인준을 받은 회원학교는 자동적으로 CEU를 제공할 수 있는 Provider 자격을 갖추게 됩니다. 예를 들어, 매일 아침 직원이 디보션으 한다면, 학교에서 해당 내용을 제출하여 ACSI 정식 코스로 인정 받을 수 있으며, 학교는 이를 근거로 해당 직원의 VPP에 CEU credit를 부여할 수 있습니다.

또 다른 예시로는 다니는 교회에서 소그룹 성경공부 모임에 참여하는 경우 (정해진 정규 예배시간 이외 시간), 학교는 해당 직원이 성경공부에 참여한 시간을 제출하여 검증받을 수 있습니다. (과제를 수행한 소요시간, 읽기 또는 쓰기 과제). 프린트 가능한 신청서와 온라인 신청서 상에 개인 VPP 안에 CEU를 표기할 수 있는 항목이 있습니다. Bible credit로 인정받기 위해서 코스/학습 과정은 반드시 ACSI's Biblical Studies Requirements 요건을 충족해야 합니다.

3. Outside Providers

If your school does not provide CEU opportunities, we have many other providers you can go through. You can email our CEU Coordinator for the full list of our outside providers. If you earn CEUs through one of our outside providers, you will most likely receive a certificate of completion as approved by ACSI, which can be mailed in with your application or uploaded to the online application. Common providers that ACSI certified teachers use are:

4. Christian Colleges/Universities

A final option for earning Bible CEUs (or college credit) is through a college/university that is accredited (by a recognized agency) or a college/university that is recognized by ACSI. The college/university must have a public statement of faith that closely aligns with ACSI's Statement of Faith. If you earn credit from the institution, you will need to submit an official transcript (or copy thereof) along with your application for certification. Seminars or online courses that are sponsored by the college/university but are not offered for credit may still enable you to earn CEU credit with appropriate documentation. Appropriate documentation would include either a certificate from the college/university (see the note at the bottom), or, if the institution does not provide a certificate, through an ACSI accredited school's provider status (#2 above). To count for Bible credit, the course/study must follow ACSI's Biblical Studies Requirements. Check with the Certification Department if you have a question about the acceptability of a college/university or a course.

성경과목 CEU(또는 대학교 학점)을 취득하는 마지막 방법으로는 외부기관으로부터 인준받은 대학교에서 학점을 이수하는것과 ACSI를 통해 인준받은 대학교에서 학점을 취득하는 것 입니다. 대학교는 반드시 ACSI's Statement of Faith (ACSI 신앙선언문)에 준하는 학교의 신앙선언문을 반드시 공개해야 합니다. 대학교에서 학점을 취득하였다면, 성적증명서 (또는 원본의 복사본)를 신청서에 첨부해야 합니다. 신학교 또는 대학교에서 제공하는 학점을 부여하지 않는 온라인 코스 또한 일정한 문서의 형태로 CEU를 취득할 수 있습니다. 필요한 문서는 대학교에서 발급한 인증서 (아래의 내용 참고) 또는 인증서를 발급하지 않는 경우, ACSI 인준 provider 상태 확인서를 첨부할 수 있습니다(아래 #2 참고). 성경 크레딧으로 인정되기 위해서는 과정/학습내용이 반드시 Biblical Studies Requirements를 따라야 합니다. 인정 가능한 대학교 또는 과정에 대해 궁금하시다면 certification@acsi.org로 연락 부탁 드립니다.

Please note: CEUs earned through ConNexus Premium, ACSI-sponsored events, and ACSI accredited schools must be uploaded to your VPP in order for those CEUs to be applied toward the renewal and/or upgrade of your ACSI Certificate. CEUs earned through other approved providers (#3 and #4 above) will require a certificate or transcript which shows the provider's name, the course/study title, the participant's name, and the number of hours/CEUs/other unit of quantity spent directly in the study (for non-credit courses, this should not include homework or outside reading time).

참고사항: ConNexus Premium, ACSI 주최 행사, ACSI 인준학교를 통한 CEU 취득의 경우, ACSI 인증서 갱신 또는 업그레이드를 위해 반드시 각 기관에서 신청자의 VPP를 업로드 해야 합니다. 인증된 provider를 통한 CEU 취득(위쪽의 #3, #4 참고)은 인증서 또는 provider의 이름, 과정 이름, 신청자 이름, 실제 학습에 사용된 시간/CEU/다른 단위를 포함한 성적증명서를 제출해야 합니다(학점 미인정 과정의 경우, 실제 과제 수행시간 또는 실제 리딩시간 이외 시간은 포함될 수 없음).
